crucian and brown goldfish

on the left hand side of the photo,above the perch, there is two crucian carp-like fish.

Am I right in thinking the browner one is a brown goldfish, as it had no barbules like the king carp species have,and the golder one is a proper crucian?

-one of my m8s said that the browner one was a small common carp but as i said it had no barbules

yep its looks like a brown goldfish to me dave and thats a nice crucian , in fact all nice fish where are they from?

collins green ponds m8- down there every day after school a few year ago

went back last year and it was still as good as ever for tench,roach and crucian on caster at 6m

is it free fishing?

ye m8- collins green used to own it but not anymore

i am going to give that a go as well

there can be plenty of kids there m8 so i usually fish the one with tall reedbeds at the back

this one is quieter with the kids as it is harder, but it has the better fish in it

even 5 or 6 carp were put in last summer up to 18 pound

ok wear is it and is there pike in it

is there three ponds next to each other?

if ya go on google earth and look at parr flash the ponds are about 300 yards to the left with the brook running behind them both

ok just had a look and it looks like they must have been connected at sometime to the brook, whats the ones to the right of the flash
