Blackbrook basin has it been netted? Empty Blackbrook basin has it been netted?

Post by graylinghunter! Wed Jul 13, 2011 11:41 pm

Fished blackbrook basin yesterday and caught only 3 inch roach (Average size) and a couple of snigs. No sign of any of the larger fish from last year..where are the tench bream and perch
Several anglers on the bank all taking sporadic bits. I having fished this spot for 35 years and know my onions you know when something is wrong.....

A very disappointing session..Although nice to be fishing with my old man...

I fished it a couple of weeks ago and caught bream and skimmers. I never seen any tench or roach. I Caught on pellet at 7 m and in the margins

I fished the basin a couple of months ago and pulled out two good tench around the 3lb mark. When I was there it was a warm sunny day and there were two nice carp cruising the surface. Be a shame if it has been netted, I was planning another session down there in a fee weeks.
