hurlston hall fishery

Post by keno on Sat May 28, 2011 5:32 pm

hi all just a quick report on hurlston hall fishery went there last tues sos report bit late , the fishery is set in side a golf course very posh indeed for my standards didnt no weather to use hemp seed or caviar for bait lol , spoke to balliffs on there before i started fishing really helpful guys told us about problem they been having with the over excessive lilly pads and boy theres loads in there so be prepared for a fight if you manage to land 1 of the big carp in there apart from that i couldnt really complain about the place its a very scenic clean fishery a credit to the owners who look like they have spent time and effort on the place ,rite pegs when you enter lake if u go to right hand side of lake theres 2 decent pegs there but theres lilly pads so always be on your guard further down right hand side though no problems i can see on the left hand side of lake plenty of pegs but as i said like the right side plenty of hazzards , had a good day myself there plenty of fish perch etc just the wind spoilt it first couple of hours ,couple of lads pulled out a 8lb carp while we were there aswell .... so hurlston hall fishery i will mark you as a 7 outta 10 , my next report is lathom fisheries burscough guys will try put pics up for you hope this helps anyone out
