how big are the carp Empty how big are the carp

hi am thinking of fishing eccleston mere for carp anyone have any idea what size they go to as am new to the water and havnt heard much about the mere (fishing wise) and cant find much info online about the fishing on there, any help would be great lads, thanks peter. Very Happy
