im looking at doing abit of floater fishing for carp and im trying to find a venue does anyone no of anywhere that responds well to it ?

any with carp in, smaller venues will be a bit easier to get at the fish though

iv got a newton aa ticket but its my first season so im abit unsure where to go at the min

I fished yew tree reservoir many years ago. I had one off the top there. They were very hard to get feeding on the surface and hard to hook in too. Not sure if the weather may be against you at this time of year as well. Been a good 8 years though so it may have changed. Apart from the canal I an not to sure about the other waters on the card.
