ST HELENS CANAL MATCH RESULTS! 24,10,07

Well what can I say great weather and a great turnout today with 24 anglers turning up for the draw and a few new faces ready to give it a go for the first time.
The start of the match was slow for the majority of anglers with the exception of Ste Hammy on peg 25 and Andy Jones on peg 24 who seemed to be into silver fish from the off.
A couple of hours in and the bites had begun to dry up for these anglers but by this time Lee Addy on peg 22 had a small carp and a few silvers in his net and Keith Dixon on peg 20 also had a small carp.
A few more hours past and it was nip and tuck in the twenty pegs with Ste Hammy and Andy Jones doing well with silvers again while Lee and Mark Addy were picking up the odd carp.
Last hour Chris Taylor on peg 29 had 2 nice carp, Ste Rimmer on peg 18 had proper lump, And the twenty pegs were still producing silvers until the last minute.
