just started fishing on carr mill and would like to have a go in the sunday matchs ,have been having afew practise sessions trying to sort out some methods but just wondering if anyone could share any knowlage they may have of the place.I know that it is snaggy around the 80's and you have to chuck it far,but is the pole an option on these pegs or is too snaggy that close in too.On the 60's where you can get away with a shorter chuck( i've been going 25 turns as oppose to 40 turns on the snaggy pegs),is it worth having an area baited up further out aswell as closer in.Best baits for the bream in the summer? i've been using single red or double fluro pinkie in the cold but fished a match last summer and was pegged right next to the archs and done well with worm.In this cold weather (or at anytime) can the pole get you in the frame, casters for roach? ball it in?,can you catch up in the water there and finally where is hollinhey bay and where are the sunshine pegs.Lots of questions i know but i am eager to learn more about this venue.(does everyone use two hook rigs and whats the best way to tie them without tangles).thanks for any replies........
