had my first trip there yesterday, mid afternoon till around 21:30, changing between a small g/bait feeder near one of the islands, and float in the margins, i ended up with around 20 fish, 3 carp, the rest tench and skimmers.

all were caught on corn, could not get a touch on pellet and did not try any other bait.

was a struggle early on, red hot and quite a few of the carp were just cruising around, i got the odd tap but nothing to strike at, once we had that bit of rain things seem to pick up and i started catching steady till the end.

was opening day of the season and i could not get on a river , so this was a pleasent way to spend an afternoon.

seriously enjoyed myself and will definitley be going back for another go.
