anyone after big carp should try the clegg fishing really well and its free and theres a cat fish in there

Were abouts in Thatto Heath is the Clegg. I cannot believe this is still a free fishery with all the good reports I have been reading on it. There are not many things in life still free so I will make the most of it.

Which assosiation is most likely to snap this up do you think?

go up elephant lane from thatto heath turn right on to the road opposite smiths convenience store when you get to the bottom of that small road there is a passage way, walk through and your there i will try get down this week and get some pics for the site
dont know who will take it over but it will happen i am sure just a quistion of time

went over the clegg yesterday about 15 ppl fishing it someone pulled out a 15lb carp by fishing dog biscuit also heard theres plans in city hall regarding the clegg but have heard 2 different stories 1 filling it in 2 putting a 3 foot fence around the clegg

i fancy trying there to , also heard loads of good reports on it , re: city hall reports , was'nt it the clegg a local lad died in last year , sure it was in reporter last year and loads wrote in and stuff asking for it to be filled in , not sure about any firm desicions but think it was decided to fence it off .

if its councill land garuntee they will go with cheapest option and fence it off and give water to an angling club to maintain .

caught 2 nice bream on there yesterday 1was 9half pound 1 was 7 pound went for carp though

the clegg is full of huge bream john , i myself had 1 14lb in 2001 and a 15lb er came ot 3 weeks ago
