my dad with a nice bag of roach and dace from a very local, flowing, venue

They look very nice.

how big dya reckon that dace is- didnt have scales at the time

i no i should have had an unhooking mat

Cracking fish them i reckon that dace is getting on for a pound , was they caught on stick float

ye m8 on the stick in traditional style

now that's my kind if fishing where exactly is it mate

no one would believe me if i told em

they were caught in the "STINKY BROOK" in parr - no shit

bout 4 years ago like but there is still sum gud uns in there

very nice i think might nip down this week some time and have a bash,

i went down today but it was flooded bad- the good pegs are behind collins green ponds

not to sure where that is dave

do ya know where parr flash is?- if so the ponds are about 300 yards upstream on your left

there is a couple of pegs behind parr flash though that can be good

thanks dave is there any chub or big perch in there?

last autumn i had a perch of a bout 2 n alf pound taking little perch as i was bringing them in

i had it on 3 times but lost it and had a chub of about 3 pound on the same day

have even had a 2 n alf pound chub on the spinner there

well looking forward to going now

only had em on spinners there in august,september and october when there is a lot of small fry about

never done well on bread or corn but maggots and worms seem best

only a couple of people fish it regularly- one of em always fishes behind the flash on weekday mornings and hell tell ya some info

cheers , its ages since i,ve fished the stick float now and it will make a real change from fishing still water , just hope i catch

you would not think it possible for a small stream to hold such quality fish.

was told the ea stocked 2000 chub and dace 10 years ago and its gone from there

i will be happy if i have a couple

it can be on and off though m8- just gotta catch it on the right day

and if ya dont catch there go onto the ponds after the tench and crewies
