Well, where am I going to better that 1lb 15oz roach? The Ribble certainly has bigger fish and I'll fish that when I'm able but it doesn't fish well when the level's up so I need a good stillwater.

I actually caught my biggest roach from there - a long time ago.
Any big roach coming from Scotsman's flash these days? I've had fish to 1.14 from there but again, it was years ago.

I live near Chester. What is "marley tiles near chester" ?

Or is it a secret water?

If you go to delamere forest from frodsham hatchmere comes up on your right. About a mile further on on your left is the marley tile factory. There,s a few lakes on the same side. Dont know who own,s them only ever heard rumours about them. Shocked

I have to say, the pictures of the roach I see from the canal are very impressive.
