piking today

went after pike on carr mill today with one rod on half a herring and the other on half a mackeral- guess what i blanked

was fishing near the boathouse and the other lads didnt have ewt either

do you mean you was fishing were the old boat house used to be

no on the last peg before reaching the new boathouse

peg 160 i think

i wouldnt mind betting you fished between 30-40 yards out ?

next time if you havnt already try under your feet or getting a bait further out
think how the match lot fish it and look at where they get pestered with pike

does anybody know why pike fishing is banned back of the arches!!!!

that is where they spawn

they could be vunerable at this time of year

it was banned due to the sheer amount of pressure they used to get down that end.
And fair play to the AA they acted in the best way available
