Hi
I am thinking about fishing moss nook as it looks like a nice little water. Can anyone give me any info? How big do the carp go to? Can u night fish on there and how much are the permits and where can i get one?

Hi, get down there on a Saturday morning about 9'o clock, before they draw for the match.
Permits are £25 first year,£20 thereafter (£10 for over 60's). I think night fishing is allowed on the big pond,you'll get a list of rules with your permit. It's a pretty easy going club ,no daft,strict rules. Great mixed fishery too,I know there's some decent sized Carp in the waters,don't know how big though.Brilliant fishing,you'll love it. There are two waters. The smaller one with the island is known as the match lake,the other pond is quite a lot bigger. Have a look on Google Earth.

been down a few times to get a permit but its always been empty. does no one go in winter? what baits work well on there, is there carp in both water?
