I always thought when Phil first had it that it a really good shop. I guess the recession must have hurt him like it did everyone else. The shelves became empty and it wasn't long before it was gone. I was surprised when it reopened as I never thought it would do enough to provide a profit to the owners and pay a wage. So where is the best tackle shop in st helens these days ?

I always go to Leigh angling centre at chain lane. They have always been very helpfull with tips and tackle. Plus lots of parking.
