No Mate,smiths is on its way down the pan now Bolton Anglers have taken it of the card.Its form another BDAA water called Mertons in Astley Bridge.

I heard Bolton AA have taken it of it card now it's a free for all down their now up there
Heard rummour don't know if it's true though of fish migrateing to other waters .
Real shame though a histrioc water like Smiths going down the pan right shame

dont know if its true about the fish migration mate,but rumours are rife at the moment.Like you say,what waste of a quality water it is.

i`ve no idea,i`ve been fishing this place for over 10 years now on the quest for a douuble tench.Biggest i`ve had from here is 9lb 1oz a couple of years ago.I dont really bother weighing them really unless i know there getting close to the double mark.I`ll have one this season though or my gears goin on ebay
