I think i still hold the record for the highest number of carp caught in a day from St Helens canal , between me and my brother
we caught 74 in one day weighing between 5lb and 9 lbs ive never heard of anyone catching more, all caught on Craft cheese slicess , small 1/2 inch balls of it,, Newo
