CALLING ALL ANGLERS

2008 charity match

6th July 2008

carr mill dam St Helens

in aid of the Widnes and St Helens Children’s Diabetic Group
£10 all in (£5 of this going straight to the charity)
draw 8am, fish 9-2

date 6th july 2008

8am draw, fish 9-2

venue carr mill dam st helens

in aid of Widnes and St Helens Children’s Diabetic Group

£10 all in with £5 going straight to the charity and the other half being divided into 1st-3rd with 2 section winners

please note that pegs at carr mill are set out in the water and that at the least wellies will be needed to get onto them

there will also be bbq, raffles and spot the balls on the day to raise as much as we can for the charity
Fish St Helens are proud to have played a part setting up this venue for Merseysideanglers.
Fish St Helens and merseysideanglers would like to take this oportunity to thank the commitee of St Helens AA for the use of carr mil dam and for generously waiving all bank fees for the match,

We need dedicated anglers willing to take part in this event which is for a very worthy cause,
Anyone wanting to take part put your name down here so we have an idea how many pegs will be needed.
Apart from the fishing it will be a great day out and a chance to meet other anglers

So come on who’s first?

Also any donations of tackle new or used in good condition, bottles of wine etc.... that can be raffled off to raise much needed funds for the Charity, thanks.

yes all of us at merseysideanglers want to pass our utmost thanks on to viv (wagglerwoman) without whome this match coudn't of gone on ahead without and of course to the commitee who generously donated the venue free of charge

as she says its a very worthwhilst cause and we want to raise as much money for the kids, one of our members has had personal dealings with this charity through his daughter and he cant praise them enough, so everybody will be made to feel more than welcome to fish it, it wont be serious, more about laughs and a bit of banter,though were a bit worried about ringers turning up on the day and making us look crap Razz

you might see me and a few of the lads on the bank getting a bit of practice in, its a long time since i last fished the place

i look forward to seeing some new faces on the day

Cool Cool Cool I THINK I WOULD LIKE TO FISH THE DAM, I HAVE NOT FISHED IT BEFORE SO BE A GOOD CHALLENGE ARE THERE MANY CARP AND F1s IN IT OR IS IT FULL OF CHUB AND BARBEL AS I LIKE FISHING FLOATING BREAD, WELL IT DOES NOT REALLY MATTER, IF IT`S FOR CHARITY I`M IN.
