Carriage Drive

Went on Carriage Drive for a few hours today got on peg 31 Plumbed up and baited up my swim at 4 meters with sweetcorn and meat, then out came THE POLE Shocked

out i went, first with sweetcorn, sat there for about 20mins and i didn't have a bite so i switched to the meat, another 20mins and nothing so i decided to have a go on the maggots, through a few in my swim and went straight over with double red, first put in on maggot had a perch, then a roach, and then nothing for about 30mins then my float slid away ever so slow hit it and i was into a fish, at first i thought it was a tench around 3lb but then my laccy started to stretch that bit to much for it to be a tench, then i knew it was a decent fish, after a good scrap for about 8mins i had a nice common in my net Very Happy

after this i was bagging on perch, tench, rudd and roach, all in all a great few hours fishing. I'm getting to like the pole little by little but for the moment i still prefer my Waggler Very Happy
