I have not fished it since around October last year so cannot really help on the latest update.

There are lots of rudd and roach in there, not seen any of these of substantial size tho. There is also a good head of tench and when the water warms up it is good tench fishing. There are a few carp in there as well, not sure on the size as I have only ever seen these basking in the summer sun, they look a good size tho.

It is not a water to knock your socks off and can be hard to fish most off the time.

Yeah, in the basin itself. The rest of the canal from the basin onwards is well silted up and pretty much unfishable.

The only one in Parr which I know of is Parr Flash, run by Collins Green Angling Club and I have never fished it. Sorry. There is a thread in the Local Waters section on Parr Flash tho.

the best fishery in parr/sutton is probably the trout farm,good for match or specalist with a lake for each.its just at the end of berrys lane and permits are avalible

YEAH IVE FISHED THE TROUT FARM REALLEY GOOD IN SUMMER ON THERE BUT CANT USE BITE ALARMS ON 1 OV THE LAKES WAT IS THE CLEG LIKE ANY 1 NO
