how can I forget just dont see your face much in photos

truthfully i dont really do a lot of photos of fish ive no desire to point people to swims where pike are etc.
and i know that makes me sound like a .... but so be it pike are far to fragile to be put under pressure by anglers who are not kitted correctly or have the wrong mentallity for them
re reading that it sounds like im having a pop at a lot of anglers thats not the case just with pike you really have to be 100% commited light rods and prolonged fights then having them out of the water for loads of trophy shots will destroy them, as will handling them gingerly lets face it they have teeth your normally fishing with six bits of sharp metal face it sometimes its going to hurt and trying to avoid that will put the fish at risk.
Too see the eveidennce of this have a look at some videos on you tube the few ive seen have been removed now due to some comments left by other anglers like myself. on one the pike was out of the water for 8 mins just to unhook it it wasnt badly hooked quite straightforward really, and they used a hammer to open the pikes mouth all because they were scared of the fish and the hooks. In all probability that pike died soon after being caught

should go pike fishing with someone experienced and confident if u arent urself- and definitley have the right tools

ive seen people spinning with no wire on and no pliers or anything- stupid
