ST HELENS CANAL MATCH RESULTS 4 FEB 09

Today was bad day for most of the 18 anglers who turned out with only 4 carp being caught all match and not that many silvers showing either, Mike Elder on peg 39 Managed to bag 2 carp around 5lb each and a few silvers, Alan lever on peg 22 had a carp around 4lb early doors plus a few slivers,, Rob Pennington on peg 28 also managed a nice carp and a handful of roach, Carl Owen on peg 17 worked hard to get a decent weight of silvers, Jeff Holland on peg 23 and Ste Hammy on peg 19 struggled to get the silverfish going. Pegs 10,9,7,and 6 produced nothing all day, so on the hole it was not the best days fishing by a long shot. But at least the weather stayed dry all day.

Yip its fishing hard, but its the only place that is fishing because everywhere else is frozen thank god for the hot water going in
